Course Introduction

The Computer Science curriculum aims to spark students' curiosity and interest in using information technology for learning.
It encourages students to embrace an adventurous spirit toward information technology and to experiment with IT tools through engaging teaching activities.
This helps them become familiar with basic computer operations and understand the widespread application of information technology in daily life, enabling them to master communication and information processing skills.
Additionally, through diverse learning activities, students' self-learning and creativity abilities are fostered.

Course Features
  • With the rapid development of global information technology and the proliferation of information, a new era of big data and the Internet of Things has emerged.
    Our school's Computer Science curriculum aims to lay the foundation for future pillars of society.
    In terms of knowledge and skills, students are taught to use various popular application software and cloud-based learning resources.
    The school is also committed to promoting STEAM education, incorporating programming software (Scratch), 3D modeling (Tinkercad), AI concepts (Machine Learning) for senior grades, and the use of micro:bit for P4-6 students.
    This not only helps students learn basic programming skills but also trains their computational thinking.
    Additionally, the school emphasizes information literacy education across various domains, enabling students to understand the importance of information security and enhancing their ability to process and apply information.

  • Starting from the 2017/2018 school year, the school will adjust the Computer Science curriculum annually and integrate online e-books into teaching.
